Primtings Museum
A sim-sized museum of primmed paintings, with lecture room space.
In an innovative, invigorating, and interpretive way, each exhibit of Primtings explores in its own way William Saroyan’s concept of, “The role of art [as making] a world which can be inhabited.” From the immersive world-filling pieces in the Primtings Microcosm to the smallest displays in the Primtings Archives, each primting attempts to establish its own expression of art by redefining masterpieces in RL in SL. The Museum is divided into Galleries based on the school of art each piece resides in, from Surrealism to Contemporary, from Realism to Dada, and more. The individual exhibits are located similar to a large museum facility, where visitors can explore and “get lost in the museum” to discover the pieces in a non-linear way. The Primtings.com web directory helps visitors find the primting they’re interested in. Primtings accepts open submissions for primmed paintings. Information is available in one of the many “Call for Artists” posters at the Primtings Museum inworld.
