New Place
A conjectural historic replica of the final house that Shakespeare lived in.
New Place is a conjectural reconstruction of the second largest house in Stratford, and also Shakespeare’s last residence on earth. While it was burnt down in real life, sketches of the building remain, and this is built on a sketch. The waterworks in the back side are interpretive. The building is large and long in size with three levels. Please note: All of our venues are cost-free for public events, facilitating both music and media stream with SL voice access. If needed, event holders may also rez objects in venues. Study-room type spaces in a more modern setting also available at the sLiterary Events Center.
