Blackfriars Theatre in Shakespeare, Second Life

A conjectural historic replica of Shakespeare's indoor theatre.

Set on the west side of the Shakespeare sim, this is the world’s only complete construction of Shakespeare’s indoor theatre. Live theatrical shows are held here, among other events. Following the Irwin Swmith interpretation, the Playhouse is located on the upper floors, while the lower levels feature steeply sloped foundational level, with stone pillars. Special boxed seating sections are available for high-bidding patrons.
