Mary Arden's House
A replica of the house of Shakespeare's mother
Mary Arden’s House (now known as Palmer’s Farm) is the fairytale-like house that Shakespeare’s mother lived in. This virtual reconstruction imitates the classic external image of Mary Arden’s House, and also features an era kitchen area, and a large basement level. While the interior roofing is accurate, the upper floor is mostly a catwalk, modified for the purposes of the Vaselets store that occupies its ground floor, in the virtual world. Please note: All of our venues are cost-free for public events, facilitating both music and media stream with SL voice access. If needed, event holders may also rez objects in venues. Study-room type spaces in a more modern setting also available at the sLiterary Events Center.
